| Lighting Up The Roads At Night |
|
Many roads and highways are poorly lit, road signs are harder to distinguish, and the reduced visibility makes it difficult to react to obstactles, because your line of sight has been significantly limited because of the darkness. High beam headlights offer some additional road awareness, but sometimes you need a little bit more to help you avoid making contact with other vehicles (those without tail lights), pedestrians (who neglect to wear reflective clothing), or nocturnal animals who cross the streets under the cover of darkness. HID (high intensity discharge) lamps are one solution that can offer you some additional intensity for your headlights, higher levels of light to better illuminate the roads. Many HID Kits can be installed in your vehicle, allowing you to convert your traditional halogen bulbs to D2r xenon bulbs, giving you the extra light you need to see the road. If you are going to drive at night, always make sure your headlights are clean, and if possible, think about upgrading your headlamps to HIDs to give you a little bit more light. It could certainly make a difference. |

Driving during the daytime is hard enough when you consider the skill, experience, or attitude of many of the drivers. But there's no question that driving at night-time can be an even more intimidating task.
